Easter at Our House

For Easter all the kids came to Mom and Dad's house and hung out. We of course: dyed eggs, had Easter egg hunts, and took naps. We also played some games and visited. Here are some pictures.

Change in Theme Song

This weekend, we are being forced to change our current household's theme song. Currently our theme song is, "Three's Company Too", but Logan and Heather have decided to move to Northern Utah, so any new theme song suggestions will be taken into consideration!

Logan got a job working with Pace at Food for Health. They are both working in shipping. Logan says he packs boxes and prints labels for them and Pace sits in his office and picks his nose :) They are looking for a 4+ bedroom house somewhere up there that both of their families can move into. If they find a house, Logan and Heather will move all their stuff this weekend. If not,.. we still don't know, but Logan starts on Tuesday.

Laren is half way done with his year of being Transient Bishop. We will all be excited in January when he can pass that white binder onto the next unlucky soul. He just switched up his whole bishopric and Young Men's presidency. His 1st counselor is now Bro. Hess. 2nd counselor is Bro. Bohne. I (McKenzie) can't exactly remember who the new exec. secretary and ward clerk are. I believe Bro. Sawyer and Bro. Law, but not sure which is which. (If this is wrong Mom, you can edit it :)) He took Bro. Jones out and put him as Young Men's President, so Bro. Jones took Bro. Toone and Bro. West as his counselors.

Recently Mom and Dad have been making plum jam, plum butter, apricot jam, pepper jelly, and bottling tomatoes. They've been busy!

Three's Company Too!

Branae and I (McKenzie) used to watch this show on Nick @ Nite when we would be going to bed. I think this is a pretty accurate story for my parents (and ours, and Logan and Heather's) living situation.

That's right! We currently have 3 families under one roof. Logan, Heather, and Raiden moved in to save up to get a house. Marcus and McKenzie moved in because she thought she was going to lose her job. After starting to move their stuff over, she was informed she had the opportunity to be transferred to St. George to work... They still moved the rest of their stuff and are planning on saving money while living with here.

How do you do it? Wouldn't that suck?! (As Elder D. put it.)

It's actually working out quite well (Well, in my eyes). Here's why...

-We each only have to cook twice a week and pitch in on Sunday

-There is almost always someone home to talk to and hang out with

-We all have our own bedrooms, so when things get annoying or whatever, we have a place to retreat.

Well, just thought you'd like to know a little bit of what's going on at the Abbott/Abbott/Kennedy household these days.
