C-Spine X-Ray!!!

So they took Kairi down at about 4:15 for the c-spine x-ray. The reason was to clear her c-spine so her neck brace brace can be taken off. The neurosurgeons did a flexion and extension to make sure there was no ligament problems.

The results are in.......no instability with flexion or extension. Which means as soon as the doctor comes in the neck brace is taken off!!!!!

She kept her eye open for about 2 hours.

Her sodium levels are being checked every 2 hours. Since the 2.6% sodium has been turned off, the levels were 138, 137, 138, 137. So they are pretty stable. As long as they stay like that tonight we are hopefully moving to the floor tomorrow! Yay Kairi will have her own room and bathroom that we can stay in. The only downside is we won't have the 2 best nurses, Nicole and Rowdy. But that's ok we will have to visit them. When we do move to the floor we will be in the Nueroscience/Trauma Unit until we go home.

Thank you all for you continuous prayers and thoughts.

Love,
Liz and Pace
