Moved Rooms Again

Kairi just got another transfer. She moved from room six to room thirty in the PICU she shares a room with one other little baby. She is one step closer to getting out. She is groaning a little bit. She moved in there because she doesnt need one on one care anymore. She is going to share her nurse with the other little boy. The attending doctor said the only reason she is in the PICU. Is because she is having a hard time maintaining her Sodium levels. Once she manages that she will be able to move out to the Neuroscience Trauma Unit. Which is just like normal rooms but specializes in brain injuries. Her neckbrace is still on because they are unsure of soft tissue injuries. They are checking her with a series of X-Rays tomorrow. If everything is good she will be able to have her neckbrace taken off. Everyday we notice her waking up more and more and they reduce her medicine less and less. She is still on some heavy sedation type drugs to help her withdrawl effects. She should be off them within a week fully. I know that if we keep faithful. love all those around us. And Pray Sincerely we will be able to overcome any obstacle thrown our way. We and it looks like all of you are gaining stronger testimonies from this. We love you all and care so much for your comments. We love reading your words of encouragement. Thank you all for your concern. And yes I believe Prayer brings out the best in people. Its amazing what happens to your attitude when you put more faith in the lord and less faith in your self. Pride sneaks up on you slowly, And when you say Yes! I am humble. you gotta start all over again. Try to be humble and the lord will bless you.

Thank you,
Love Pace and Liz.

Humility is a difficult thing to grasp in our lives. You are definitely right about the instant you say you are humble you have lost all hunility you worked for. The more humble we are the closer we come to our Savior and His love that he has for us. Remember He is only an arm's length away because that is as far as we can push Him. He is always reaching out to us and all we have to do is keep reaching for Him and He will always be there. Love you guys.

Pace and Liz,
Thanks for lifting us all up with your words of encouragement and your testimonies. You are helping us more than we are helping you. You can never again say that no one cares this blog has proven thrown that theory right out the window. It is truly amazing. Our family is going to take your advice about "Its amazing what happens to your attitude when you put more faith in the lord and less faith in your self." Keep smiling.
Love,

Hi guys! What a good day. So glad Kai Kai is improving step by step. You are doing remarkably well with everything. When you get discouraged just remember all the people who are pulling for you and let us lift you up just like you do for us. Our elder Brother Jesus Christ truly knows better than any of us what you are feeling and Heavenly Father definitely knows what it is like to watch as a child suffers. Take each day and recognize each miracle that happens. We send our love and prayers, Pat and Treva

I am SO addicted to this blog. I cannot wait to get home from work to see what progress Kairi has made that day.

I KNOW from personal experience about humility. Unfortunantly, we have to be driven to our knees sometimes. Heavenly Father knows and cares about each one of us. I am trying to keep the faith and be more humble.

Keep the faith. Love ya all so much. Thank you for your testimony and faith. It keeps my faith growing each day.

Love ya lots,

Laurie Jones (Knight)
