Rehab Session

Today Kairi did good in Rehab she held her head up a lot ... they made hit kneel for a little while. They also made her stand and take up couple steps. She got excited when they started moving her legs for a step. She is doing pretty good. Through the night she scratched all the scabs off the top of her head now they are all over her bed. The OT said that she thinks her vision will correct itself just needs to remember how to control it. I am heading home in a couple hours and will come back up Monday afternoon. We are doing good. Just getting tired of the hospital. Today is the 4 Week mark since she got hurt. She is making really good progress and we are very proud of how she is doing. We thank you all for your prayers and are so thankful for all the support we receive from everyone. We love you all very much!

Love,
Pace, Liz, & Kairi

I've been following your story since almost the start and have often wanted to comment but haven't known what to say. Your baby girl is so special, as you well know. She is lucky you are her parents. Thank you so much for your daily lessons on love, faith, endurance, prayer, strength, hope, etc...We are thinking of and praying for you and your sweet baby girl.

I have also been following your baby's progress, and your strength has helped me in so many ways. Yesterday, our family had our own tragedy. There was a plane crash outside Moab, UT. there were 10 passengers aboard, none survived. My husband's little sister was on that plane. We miss her so much! She had just gotten engaged the night before the crash, and her whole world looked like it was opening up right before her. while we all ache, we get strength from the gospel and from our Heavenly Father, and from others who have been able to bear the trials that they are called to bear. Thank you for sharing your testimonies, faith, and strength. It helps more than you could ever know.
