Rounds Update

This morning after the doctors where doing there rounds, they decided to lower her breaths that the ventilator is giving her so she will start doing them more by herself. They also need to give her more sodium because her levels were kind of low due to the amount of fluid she is peeing. I can't believe all the swelling that has gone down. Her nose is starting to go back to normal, and her little chin is back. They are able to put her neck collar on much easier now.

I am so thankful for having such awesome nurses that are here helping Kairi get better. We have been so blessed. I know my Heavenly Father has had a hand in all of this and am so grateful for the opportunity we have had to grow through this time in our lives.

Thank you all so much for all of your comments.

Love,
Liz

Hey Liz! I just wanted to make a mommy note! I think you are amazing! Kairi is so lucky to have you as her mommy! It has been such a testimony builder to have you and Pace post, and update! Thank you for sharing with us!

Thank you for sharing with all of us your thoughts and feelings at this time of trial for you. It is such a help to have family and friends. I just want to add my faith and prayers with all of yours. Heavenly Father loves everyone of us and knows what is needed. Faith in the Savior is our lifeline. I can tell yours is very strong even though you sometimes worry. Please know that you are in my prayers and I will continue to pray for your family and your precious little Kairi. Love to all of you,

Pace & Liz --

Prayers continue ... for Kairi's condition to improve (step by step) and for you to be given the strength and sustenance you need to endure this journey. Your faith lifts up so many of us who read this blog ...

Little Kairi is a missionary as she lies there fighting for her life ... and so are you!

Thank you for touching all our lives. Know that our prayers and our love are with all of you ... without ceasing ...

We just got home from church and your family is constantly on our minds and in our hearts. I couln't wait to get home and see how Kairi is progressing. It sounds as if the tables are starting to turn and soon she'll open her sweet eyes to see her parents. Pace and Liz, you are so wonderful to stay so strong and to share your testimony with all who read your special blog. I have grown in understanding and faith as I read your entries. The Lord does love your family and is with your precious baby. Our prayers continue on for Kairi.

I know it's been said a few times on here... but it is true, by your strength and faith and testimony it has helped my own testimony to grow stronger. I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to fast for your sweet Kairi today and she and you are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. I'm grateful for your testimonies and for you reminding us to remember to spend more time with our children and to hold them close! I can't wait for your little kairi's eyes to open and for when you can hold her again!
