Kairi just made me sob. I was having a hard day. I prayed to our heavenly father to help me know she was getting better. To know she was going to be alright. I love the lord and everything he does for us no matter how small. Here's some pictures of what happened. Though the event we got was only half the size of the one that made me cry.
I love this little girl!

Hang in there and be patient. Remember that things are done on the Lord's time. She will get better, but this type of injury takes time. A friend used to tell me "patience...if you don't have patience the Lord will have to teach you patience."
Let the Lord do his work. I know it is so hard on your family. But I also know you have faith. Personally, I can't think of anything worse, with the exception of losing a child. Be strong for your baby. She needs it. She will be fine. Many people have told you this and I am sure she has had many priesthood blessings that say the same.
I read your blog daily and you do not know me but I continue to pray for your family and precious little girl. Someday when I drive through Mesquite on my way to SG I might drop in on you.
Never lose hope. All is well...I know she will be fine. She is strong and the Lord is with her.
Awww her little smile made me teary eyed too! I can only imagine how happy it made you guys!!! I know its hard watching your little princess go through all this, but honestly you guys seem very strong concidering! You have awsome faith and god knows thats hard to have at a time like this but he is watching and knows how much faith and love your family has for him! Kairi really has came along way in 3 weeks, its practically a miracle! I find it harder and harder to get angry with sadee over the small things like screaming(something little girls do, you know the really high pitched one)or for climbing on counters, or jumping on the couch it makes you stop and think cause were all praying for Kairi to get better and do those "small things" again! Kids will be kids, let them be little, cause they grow fast and you never know what tomorrow will bring! You guys really are awsome for sharing all this with us!!! Still praying for Little miss Kairi to hurry home and start jumping on your couch!xoxoTerrin & Sadee
Yippee a Smile I guess in the scheme of things you loose the meaning of stop and smell the roses. I have just enjoyed another dose of it, and it fills my heart with so much joy to see Kairi making such progress and witnessing the power of prayer, we sure enjoyed our visit, I could feel the strength when I entered the room.
Its wonderful to watch you both interacting with her and trying to get that squeeze or thumbs up. I know prayers are answered with patience.
She is so stinkin pretty! Looks like her hair is starting to come back in. Love that little "grin" :) What a little lady.
Hang in there! It is important to realize that three weeks isn't that long, she has done AMAZING in three weeks, she has come so far. From where she has come and what she has done in the time allowed. For me on the outside I couldn't imagine that she could come this far in this amount of time. I know I am not there, and to you every day probably takes an eternity, but she has done an awesome job in just over 21 days!
Chin Up! She is such a lucky girl! Thanks so much for showing us your world, and for sharing her sweet pictures :)
Love- the Lee's
What a sweet, tender mercy from our Father in Heaven!! That little smile and the sparkle in her eyes is truly a testament that Heavenly Father is watching over your family and that he loves you. It also shows that Kairi knows you are there and that you love her and support her as she struggles through the painful process of recovery. God bless your family. I'm so excited that you finally got a smile...and I'm sure Kairi has been trying so hard to let you know that she loves you. Today she got that chance.
Yay for the little smile! Your own kid's smile is always the best thing and this one is even more special.
