She is down right now having X-Rays taken of her neck. To clear the neck and spine of injuries there. It seems like why didn't they do that before? I mean its a neck injury. They didn't because she was in such a fragile state. And even disturbing her even the smallest amount made her ICP's Double. They have not gone over 17 since her surgery. That we know of. They only check it every hour and the tube is set to relieve pressure if it gets over 15. This morning when I went in to tell her nurse goodbye. The Neuro team was there and they told the PICU that it was their call when. But we can start weaning her of her Sedatives. So I think after these X-Rays and the medical team makes their rounds I think they will start that. I will keep you posted there. I am so very happy with the progress she is making. It is truly wonderful to be able to see her improving. I Know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus are watching over her. She is a very special girl. We are very blessed to have her. No words will ever be able to express my gratitude for all of you who check on use every day. I am just totally blown away by the outpouring of love and support we get every day. I love reading all the messages. Every one of them makes us smile, sometimes cry out of the love you can feel from them. We love you all so much. Thank You.
Christ told the lady in the crowded street when she touched the hem of his robe. Thy faith has made thee whole. I have a new understanding of faith and of how strong it truly is. I Love the lord and I love this church I am a member of. My wife is so totally awesome and I love her dearly.
Thank you again i could never say it enough.
Love

Pace, I'm impressed with the way you have handled this hardship in your life. It seems to me, through reading these blogs, that you really are someone who loves and leads his family in the ways he ought to. Very cool. :)

Pace & Liz,
I hope you are journaling this event. I know the blog is a type of journal, but you can't always share your most personal feelings on a blog. Write down the good and bad. It will be a strength to you later. It might also be interesting to write down the things she'll talk about when she wakes.
Isn't it great to have people who love you? Isn't it great to have people to lean on? Our tragedies are always overshadowed by the peace that comes from true love. It's wonderful to know the one who created us also loves us, and knows our every need. He who sees past, present, and things to come is in control of all. We keep praying for you. All is well, all will be well. We love you.

Hi, we are glad to get the updates and know how Kairi is doing. We are all still praying for all of you. Thanks for the pictures. Have a good day.

Dear Liz,
You and Pace are so brave, and so chosen of the Lord to be worthy parents of such a special girl. My faith has been renewed by your testimony and by following Kairi's story. I love you all and want to be a support in anyway I can, through her time of recovery. My teenage son, who does not know you, DROPPED to his knees in prayer after reading about and seeing the pictures of little Kairi. I will pray for you all every day and check to see how she is doing. Isn't the priesthood awesome!!
Thanks for your example, much love to all of you, Vicki, Preston and Melanie NakamuraXXXX0000.
Hi guys, the article is in the DVT newspaper. Hopefully everything is accurate. You can check it out at www.dvtnv.com. It's titled "Mesquite 3-Year-Old Recovering from Head Trauma". There is also a section of the paper which refers to your donation account. I will try to scan it and send it to you. You guys are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. Love you, Tabitha & Chad & all the kids
Pace, know that you continue to be in my prayers ... as well as in the prayers of those in my family (and those S.C. Baptists are some FIERCE prayer warriers!!! :) You are loved and being lifted up by many who know you ... but also by many who don't. You and your family (and Kairi, who is fighting for her life) are living witnesses for your faith ... and are walking testimonies. Kairie ... get better, sweetheart! Prayers continue! God bless all of you!
Beth

I linked to your blog from a friend's blog, so you don't know me. But, I just wanted you and your family to know that you'll be in my prayers and thoughts. I know that our Heavenly Father is watching over you and your precious little girl.
