Kairi did awesome at church today. She did awesome all day. It was kind of hard with Pace being gone, but I am just going to have to get used to it. My whole family came up to Salt Lake for family dinner. It was nice to see everyone. Kairi even came down with us.
I am so thankful for our Heavenly Father who loves us so much. I know this was all part of the plan, but some days it is so hard for me to realize that. I am so grateful for such a loving husband who is so STRONG!!! He is amazing. He helps me more that he will ever know. I don't know what I would do without him.
Thank you all for your love and prayers. There is one thing in particular that I would like everyone to pray for. Kairi is having a hard time with liking things being put in her mouth. Speech has been trying to get her to taste things but she won't have anything to do with it. I have such a hard time brushing her teeth, and she does not like anything near her mouth. Not even "lip" (chapstick). So if we all could pray that Kairi will not be so protective of her mouth so she can start eating, that would be great. Once again thank you all for everything that you do.

I will keep praying and I will say a special prayer that she starts daring to taste things, but remember hospital food isn't the best, LOL!
Kairi has made such amazing progress it will all come together, she just wants it in her time,not ours. I am sure she will start tasting eating very soon. Power in prayer and that is just what we will do!!!!
Sounds like you all had a great dinner, that is wonderful! I love you guys very much. I think you and Pace are lucky to have eachother, you are both very stong and I am so proud of you! Lots of love
