Kairi had speech therapy at 10:30 and did really well. She put a wooden puzzle together and was really trying to communicate.
Then at 11 Kairi had PT and OT. She did awesome!! She was still a little emotional like yesterday. I think it's because she remembers all of the things she used to do and can't quite figure out how to do it now. So she gets really frustrated.
After therapies we took Kairi down to get a CT scan. Pace stayed in with Kairi and she did really well.
Then we came back to the room, Kairi and Pace took a nap.
After that Colonel the therapy dog came to visit Kairi she liked it a lot.
Then Kairi went to afternoon therapy. She did really good again. Still a little emotional but that's ok.
When we got back to her room the nurse told us that Neurosurgery is 2 hours behind. So now we are hoping to get in at 5. We took Kairi for a walk to visit little Teagan, and we went outside for awhile.
That is pretty much our day so far. We will let you know how surgery goes. Thank you for all the support and prayers.

Sounds like the days are full of happenings :) I ran into your mom at the store, Pace. She looks so good, it was so cute to see her face light up when talking about your sweet princess! I hope the surgery went well, and everyone is doing good, and happy. We have come to love your family so much through this! Every day is a new success, and we are cheering right with you!
