Therapies!!

OT came in at about 8:30 and helped Kairi dress herself, wash her face and brush her teeth. Then we went down to the rehab gym and Kairi played with the marble maze and when they would have her sit down for a break she would whine a little becuase she didn't want to sit down. Then they had her walk with a little walker. They were still holding onto her a little and helping her a bit with her right leg. It gets half way and then stops so they just giver her a little boost. Then Speech just stopped by and Kairi just smells a sucker, popsicle and chocolate ice cream. And she would rub Kairi's face and lips. She did good with that. But she still won't taste anything.

Kairi is going to have PT, OT, and Speech again this afternoon.

Love,
Liz & Kairi

Hi Liz, You don't know me but I know your mom, dad and your grandma Jean. You are very lucky to have the family you have and to have your parents living so close. I know Pace had to go home for the week to work but you too are strong and can do this. You also have a brother and little sister for support. You are truly blessed and I know you know this. Your little girl is so sweet. I check your blog a few times each day for updates. I am so happy with her progress.
By the way, you look so much like your mother! And she is so sweet! Keep up the good work and this will all be behind you soon. (Oh and I know Becky too...can't forget her!)
