I was in there and the Neuro team came in and said the called Opthamology and told them to go ahead and dilate her eyes so they could check them. Also The Resident came in and told me that they wont know exactly what type of Bacteria she has for 48 hours. But they have a general Idea. They are giving her two Potent antibiotics (The big guns) as they put it. to treat the broad area of them until they know for sure which it is. Then they will adjust treatment accordingly. FYI The Meningitis That kills people in 1 day is only one certain type and they are pretty sure this isn't that one. I know i caused some panic putting Meningitis on the Blog but it makes me giggle thinking about it. I'm a pest what can I say. Thank you all for your love and support. Ill try and post again before like 10pm Utah time if anything changes ... if not it ll be in the morning. Just know that she is the same.

Just want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers each and every day, all day. We are so proud of how you are handling everything. You are an inspiration to us all. What a tough time to go through. I can tell you have already grown so much through this trial and you will continue to do so. Faith is day by day, moment by moment. Sometimes you have to lean on others. You guys are awesome! Thank you for sharing updates with us. I don't know what we would do if we had to wonder every day how Kairi is doing. When first reading this post I thought "Man, they just can't catch a break!" Then I took a mental step backward and realized that the fact that Kairi is still on this earth is a huge "break"! This is just a small hic-up in her recovery. We are waiting that next post on pins and needles. Give her our love!!
