The opthamologist has come in and checked Kairi she said everything looks good. No damage to any nerves or bruising or anything behind her eyes. And that the hematoma on her eyelid will go away with the swelling. So her eyes are still good. Then my mom and I went in after the nurse change and Nycole wanted to roll her and asked us to help. We rolled her over to her right side. When we got her all propped up she didn't like it and started lifting her arms and legs try to get leverage to move herself around to be more comfortable. The best part about that was it was her right side. Which we were kinda worried about. While she was fighting to get comfortable (which she didn't get) She squeezed my finger really tight so she still has some good strength in her hand. She is sleeping really good and has been doing awesome breathing on her own. Hopefully she will get her breathing tube out tomorrow. Anywho im off to bed. Thank you all very much for your concern. We love you all. And appreciate all your messages they really lift us up.

Well, PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED! Kairi continues to improve, although, Pace, YOU ARE A SCAMP for that scare on the blog with the mention of menningitis! Thankfully, I was reading the SECOND one FIRST! ... when you admitted it was a less dangerous form (the more literal use of the word).
Anyway, it is heartening to know that your sweet girl is continuing to show progress and that you and your family can see it (and, hopefully, be encouraged! :)
