We got to the hospital a little after 8 and Kairi was wide awake. She had a good night. At midnight her sodium went down to 136 but then when they checked her at 4 it was back up to 138. Which means she is regulating her sodium on her own!! So if her sodium is still good at noon then we are moving to the floor. We are just waiting now for the Neuro team to come take that stinkin neck brace off. Then we can hold Kairi. It has been sooooo long since we've been able to hold her.
Kairi is such an amazing little girl. I don't know what I would do without her.
Last night I was having a hard time. I was looking at Pace's phone and his background on it is a picture of Kairi and I. I just started to cry because I miss her so much. I can't wait until I can have my Kairi back again.
Thank you all for you support, prayers and comments. They help so much.
Love,
Liz
p.s. When Kairi wakes up from her nap I will take some pictures so you all can see her beautiful eye.

I bet that was extremely exciting to walk in and see Kiari awake. You've waited for that for a long time. That has got to feel just amazing! I'm so happy to see and hear that she is making such great progress. You guys are terrific. Thanks for sharing this trial with us all and helping us all to understand exactly what faith, strength and prayer are all about! Keep up the amazing strength and faith!! We love you!
