She has been off her Paralytic for around 20 hours. A little while ago they started weaning her of her Heavy sedative, and her Pain meds They are slowly reducing them every 6-8 hours. They are reducing them a little bit, 25-30% So far she has been doing good. If we bug her, move her around, or anything she starts trying to breathe on her own. After about 30 mins she falls back into her deep sleep. If she starts waking up enough to breathe on her own they will put her ventilator into spontaneous mode. Which Basically allows her to do all her own breathing but keeps pressure on the line to help overcome the "Straw Effect" she gets from breathing through the tube. If she does good on her spontaneous trials. They would remove her tube after about 24 hours when they are sure she can handle it herself and wont need it put back in. As soon as that happens and she is totally off her Sedative and Pain Meds (Fentanyl i think is how its spelled) She will be able to move out of the PICU. I am expecting that to probably be late Sunday to Monday sometime. She is doing really good.

We are so blessed to have all the love and support we are being given. I actually feel totally overwhelmed and somewhat unworthy to receive it. I can not comprehend the love I have received since Saturday. I Love You all soo much whether you know me or not. I appreciate your prayers and your support more than i can ever express.
Thank You,

What WONDERFUL news!! The Lord is working miracles in your little girl! She has tremendous strength ... and after reading your words ... "watching" how you are handling this situation ... going through this unexpected "journey," I can see where she gets her strength, her optimism, her tenacity, and, most of all, her FAITH! Peace, prayers and love ... to all of you!
